Italian Maiolica Ceramics

Our collection of Italian maiolica ceramics are designed and made by hand by Tuscan artisans in Montelupo which was one of the historic centres of Italian maiolica production in the 16th Century. Italian maiolica was incredibly popular in Britain during the 16th Century as can be evidenced by the large quantity held in private collections at the time; Henry VIII's inventory, taken after his death, is one such example. Our collection is designed and based on the original styles and philosophies incorporated in the creation of these 16th century creations.

These ceramics are designed for interior use only. If you are interested in learning more about these products, or would like to make an appointment to see our range in Oxford, please contact us.
